Grants & Fellowships: Summer 2018

Pharmaceutical Chemistry department members have received the following grants and fellowships between July and September 2018:

09/30/2018: Adam Renslo received the US Army Medical Research Activity Award, Department of Defense, for work on prostate cancer. This project will be funded for three years.

09/13/2018: Michelle Arkin received a one-time charitable award from the Rainwater Charitable Foundation to fund neurodegenerative research.

09/13/2018: Adam Renslo’s project, entitled “Chemical Methods for Ferrous Iron Drug Delivery,” will be funded through the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases until 2023.

09/04/2018: Michelle Arkin was awarded a grant for her project entitled, “Protein and small-molecule tools to probe the conformational dependence of the VCP/p97 protein-protein interaction network,” which will be funded through 2022.

07/27/2018: The National Institutes of General Medical Science awarded Bo Huang a grant for his project entitled, “Rapid Screening of Gene-edited cells.” This project will be funded for 2 years.
