In collaboration with the PSL-Qlife Institute at Institut Curie in Paris, QBI announced a RFA in 2020 aimed to connect the quantitative biology worlds at UCSF and PSL-Qlife through a funding mechanism, "Quantitative Approaches for Studying Complex Biological Phenomena RFA". Four grants were awarded to collaborating researchers based at QBI and PSL-Qlife.
As Program Administrator of the UCSF-Stanford Center of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation (UCSF-Stanford CERSI), I oversee the Center's daily program operations and manage our collaborative regulatory science research program with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). I handle grant administration, ensure compliance with reporting requirements, facilitate communication between research faculty and FDA, and coordinate logistics for programmatic activities. In addition, I provide strategic support to the Zhao Lab.
The QBI Seminar Series is presenting Christian Ottmann, an Associate Professor of Molecular Cell and Structural Biology in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Eindhoven University of Technology. Dr. Ottmann works on small-molecule modulation of 14-3-3 Protein-Protein Interactions with a special focus on natural products and their derivatives.
