As associate dean of student affairs for the School of Pharmacy PharmD program, I provide leadership and management of student affairs program in the areas of recruitment and admissions, academic advising, personal and professional development, student well-being, student services, co-curricular activities, administration of student scholarship and awards, and student progression. I serve as the School’s liaison on student issues for the PharmD program with faculty, staff, campus, and external partners. I work collaboratively with school leadership to continually improve as well as identify and implement new student professional and leadership programs that support students’ professional identity formation and foster students’ self-directed life-long learning. In my role, I aim to provide a supportive learning environment that promotes student success where they are professionally prepared and can thrive in any dynamic health care practicing setting.
