Ken Dill, PhD, an internationally recognized expert on protein folding and UCSF School of Pharmacy associate dean of research, has been named recipient of the 53rd UCSF Academic Senate Research Lectureship for his distinguished contributions to science.

A research paper authored by UCSF School of Pharmacy faculty member Brian Shoichet, PhD, and colleagues appeared in the September 2007 list of The Nature Top Ten. The listing includes articles most frequently downloaded from the Nature website the preceding month.

Irwin (Tack) D. Kuntz, PhD, professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, UCSF School of Pharmacy has been named the 2003 Volwiler Research Achievement Award recipient by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).
